Grants for Charitable Organizations

Faith Hope and Charity awards grants to non-profit organizations that provide help to residents of Gilmer County each January. Grant applications can be picked up at the store 30 days before the deadline of October 15 each year. We have given to a number of organizations in the past, including, but not limited to Gilmer County Food Pantry, Gilmer Learning Center, Christian Learning Center, Alzheimer's Association, Gilmer Community Action, House of Hope, Promise Land Ministries, and Georgia Mountains Hospice.

This year the following organizations were awarded grants:

Boys & Girls Club of Gilmer County, Fellowship of Christian Athletes (Gilmer Chapter), Georgia Mountains Hospice, Gilmer County Food Pantry, Gilmer Adult Learning Center,  Christian Learning Center, Isaiah House, Appalachian Children's Center, Gilmer Senior Center, Kids Ferst, New Beginnings of Gilmer County and Redemption Outreach. These grants account for $121,200.00.
