SCHOLARSHIP APPLICATION INSTRUCTIONS

You must be a US citizen and a resident of Gilmer County to be eligible.
Funds not available for advanced degrees (beyond a Bachelors).

  1. Complete the linked Scholarship Application.  It is in PDF format. Be certain that all information is correct and up-to-date.
     

  2. Students currently enrolled in a college must provide:

  1. A transcript of credits mailed directly to FHC Recycle store or presented to the Scholarship Committee in a sealed college envelope.

  2. Documentation from the college’s financial aid office of all financial aid received.

  1. Students not currently enrolled in a college must provide:

  1. Proof of acceptance and date of intended enrollment from the college.

  2. Documentation from the college’s financial aid office of all aid for which you are eligible.

  1. Have the above information mailed to:

  1. All applicants must have an interview with the Scholarship Committee. Please call the FHC store, 706-635-3035 or 706-635-3045, to arrange an interview. Interviews may also be arranged by email:

Scholarships cannot be awarded until all information is received from the applicant and the college, and the interview process has been completed.
